On my way out of the gym (30 min on elliptical machine + lower body weightlifting = tired me) and on the way home, I heard some random news bits...
(and yes, I still need to journal about the Broadway larp and now about the Ralendor session also)
ETA: I got involved in finishing off City of Sorcery by Marion Zimmer Bradley, and now it's really late, but I feel a need to finish off this post. Please excuse the massive ramblings below (long, so I made multiple LJ cuts just for fun) if you feel a need to read them. This is mainly ranting and random thought wandering, so I'm not really up for a debate on any of this, although constructive comments are always welcome if someone is so moved (but I reserve the right not to discuss if I don't feel like it :P ).

Brazil's new liberal leader a threat to American globalization - this is bad? :)  )

Where should we put the water? I know - in the desert! )

If you ever feel the urge to check your credit report (free in MA, so get to it! [g]), and you only feel like checking one of the three credit bureaus, go for Transunion. They're the only one of the three that will let you get a free report online - the others only give you a free one through the mail.

If anyone actually wants more information about checking credit reports (like phone numbers, etc.), let me know, because I've been all through it over the past day or so. It took a while and some extra money so that it wouldn't take *longer*, but at least I've figured out what I needed to change. Lest this seem unimportant, I've been worrying about this for two years, so it's really nice to be able to cross it off my To Do list. Yay, shrinking to do list!
