Aug. 6th, 2003 10:21 amI don't know if it's allergies or I was actually getting sick last Wednesday night when my throat started hurting, but my body has decided that it really doesn't like my lungs and is trying to expel them. After a couple of days of not sleeping well due to intermittent hacking, I almost fell asleep during a conference call. I haven't been medicating myself because the cough is useful some of the time, so I don't want to try and stop it (although stopping the new congestion by actually taking my allergy meds is not a bad idea).
I've been feeling really weak and tired and scatterbrained. I owe people e-mail and such, as is normal for me (sigh - will I ever get myself in order? I always let people down), and I wanted to explain that at least this time, I sort of have an excuse.
Going to go try a hot shower and see if it helps. Sent in mail stating that I'm going to be late for work - since they heard me coughing incessantly yesterday, that shouldn't be a problem.
