whispercricketI am now on vacation until Feb 22. Yay. I'm actually extremely ecstatic about this, but I'm rather dazed at the moment.
I experienced a mighty adrenaline high this afternoon (the morning was quite tedious, actually) as I frantically tried to get everything to a stopping point so I could actually leave and get to Earthdawn. For once, this translated into a hyper-focused uber-productive state that was actually absolutely wonderful...after I was able to leave (since I was stressing about how I was going to be late and everyone was going to be mad at me but I couldn't actually go until I had everything properly done). I may have been a bit more aggressive than usual while driving. :) Unfortunately (and I knew this was going to happen and had absolutely no way to stop it), I semi-crashed as soon as I didn't have anything majorly pressing to focus on, nor would I have been able to keep that going anyway, so I spent at least half the session in a rather low-energy state, which is not so good when you're playing a Windling. Luckily, it wasn't a session where my somewhat mediocre attempts mattered too much, and I don't have the energy right now to feel anything at all really (and I know why it happened so I'm not going to feel bad about it).
But vacation. Yay. Yay yay yay. I will spend this vacation doing video work (yes, really) and learning new computer skills and cleaning the house and possibly other things too. And I will relax, because I am so fried at the moment. But...*checks*...I am happy. And very very tired.
