perspective

I was completely humbled today when I went to buy new windshield wipers and failed to be able to remove the old ones by myself. I finally got some help from the people at Autozone (they were extremely busy), and it turns out that I just was pulling the wrong way. I hate falling into old stereotypes (women don't know about cars, not even enough to change a wiper blade...bleh). At least now I should know how to do it in the future.

The next time my dad calls me with what I think is a simple computer question, I'll try to remember this experience and have more patience with him than I've had lately. I'm sure he could have changed my wiper blades without any help. :)
