As I slog through my neverending list of things I need to do...
1) Add journal entry summarizing the California trip
2) Add journal entry summarizing Christmas with
arawen's family.
3) Add journal entry about New Years, including New Year's resolutions. My main resolution for this year is to learn self-discipline, as I've come to the realization that I have none.
All of these could be one long uber-entry, I guess.
Write e-mail / letters to the people I've been neglecting, like my best friend who I've known since we were both six (our birthdays are two weeks apart). Also need to send congratulations to far away friend who has a new baby.
Call my parents. They love me too much to be neglected. For that matter, call my grandfather and cousins too, because they deserve it and I'm a twit to be scared to talk to them on the phone because I'm afraid we'll just have awkward silences. It doesn't matter if we do or not - it's the call itself that counts.
Finish compiling the TMA quotes and send them out to the list. This really should only take about 10 minutes more, but I've been putting it off for some reason. I think because it means that I'd have to look through my unwieldy e-mail inbox.
Fix e-mail inbox by deleting and sorting messages.
Pre-order Buffy Season 3, Utena disk 4.
Bills. Bills bills bills.
Burn a new Buffy musical dvd and verify that I can disc image it (so that I can get rid of the iDVD project, which takes up many gigs of space). Create new skating dvd and find a source for cheaper yet still very reliable dvd-r disks.
Go to the record store in waltham and get the tape from the guy who wants to commission a set of dvds.
Buy new windshield wipers to replace the one(s) that broke yesterday.
Buy new CD holder, because my two are overfilled now that I've finished entering the new ones into my database.
Update wishlists and put them online / in palm format.
Get that smartphone. I realize more every day how much I need it. Pray that it fulfills my needs (or if not, that they come out with a new bluetooth phone very soon).
Clean desk. My goal is to be able to take papers to my desk and get them sorted easily and quickly so that I stop taking over the main table at regular intervals.
Clean computers and back them up. I rather believe that if I don't back them up, something bad is more likely to happen than if I do back up, because the universe likes to catch me when I'm being lazy. :P
Get hosting site so that I can actually put up my webpage. It shouldn't be too expensive, and I won't have to worry about RCN noticing me.
Turn pics that I want to be LJ avatars into LJ avatar form.
Go to the gym. So what if I'm probably as weak as I was when I started. That just means I need to start again, and this time have more self-discipline (theme of the year).
Update my resume. It's a good thing to have just in case.
There's more, but I have to go now.
